Keeping Beyonce In Prayer
Of course Beyonce is on this list!!! She is one of the biggest Pop stars in the world. Being a Diva does not exempt her from this prayer blog, it actually qualifies her. Beyonce is on the Pop A list. Many may criticize, but we know it comes with the territory of “celebritydom”. So we will speak positively.
On the stage she may call herself a diva, but she is also an enthusiastic humanitarian, working with non profits like the Global Food Banking Network and partnering with General Mills for Show Your Helping Hand Campaign to help fight hunger in America. We love Beyonce’s positive mission to uplift women, with hit songs like “Independent” and “Through With Love”. The former Destiny’s Child lead singer definitely exemplifies glam and young women everywhere admire her. So because of that, we do need to continue to pray for Beyonce. In an industry where sex sells, and money is god, we want to continuously pray for talented people like her so that they follow the right path and put God first.
She and her husband Jay-Z are continuously written about negatively in blogs. Beyonce has said in past to be a Christian and actively supports her local church. You don’t have to be a gospel artist to be saved, but we all know that being a Christian means exemplifying Christ. We don’t know Grammy Winning artist personally and are not making any judgments on her personal life. So let us keep Beyonce uplifted in prayer for her life, her family, her success and true lasting salvation.
