I recently found this video on YouTube showing Grammy winner and pop artist Ne-Yo breaking down in tears on stage in Manchester. Apparently he was so taken back with emotion from doing a Michael Jackson tribute song, that he was not able to finish the show. He says in the video it was the first time. Many other bloggers and a few other blog sites had some negative comments about this situation. Some others I must say were very supportive. The video is below.
My Thoughts
I have met Ne-Yo several times and he is actually a very nice and genuine person to speak with. I also like that he seems really grounded and personable, even calling me his “friend” after meeting me a few times. It is a shame people are so desensitized to genuine emotion and are so callous when someone is stricken with grief. Someone who is able to touch the world with their unique gift of music is usually very sensitive. We should extend positive words to help uplift him. Please support Ne-Yo in your prayers and give your positive posts below to show Ne-Yo and the world there are people out there who care.
The Prayer
I am praying for Ne-Yo that God brings him comfort and peace and his guidance with whatever he is going through. He is a very talented individual. We love you Ne-Yo!!! AMEN
